Thanks to coolguyandme [1088] for this Guide! Do to popular demand, here is MY suggestions on how to raise a proper pet. Please keep in mind, these are only MY suggestions, as there technically is no proper way to raise a pet. Training: A pet should be trained as much as possible. When you “train” a pet, it costs 1/4th of your will bar. So start training your pets EARLY. Training raises your pet’s strength. Check your pet status on the Pet Rawr HOF. I suggest using a full will bar for training your pet, every time you use an E bar. Example: If your will bar is full, train however much E you have, and then use the rest of your will to train your pet. If you follow this method, your E bar should be anywhere from 60-70 E when your will bar gets full. This way, you make full use of every bar. Health/Vet: There are numerous ways to raise your pet’s life/defense. The best way is to “give your pet a shot” for 1 crystal. This increases your pets health bar. Many top notch players have invested thousands of crystals into high level pets, so don’t be afraid to spend those crystals. If your short on crystals, for whatever reason, you can also increase your pets life by treating your pet for “rabies, broken legs, or worms.” However, crystals are the best way to increase your pet life. Feeding/Water/Play: Again, these are MY suggestions only. Whenever a pets “hunger” gets below 90, I feed it a loaf of bread. A loaf of bread costs $100, and restores 10 pet hunger. Anything else is a waste of money in my opinion. Furthermore, there is just no reason to tempt fate, and potentially lose your pet, by letting its hunger get to low. Whenever I feed a pet, I also play with it and water it. This way, all its bars stay full at all times. Gang Armoury: If you find yourself with numerous pets and don’t have the ability to take care of them all, just donate them to the gang! If your gang has a pet armoury, you can donate them to the gang, and they will not require any upkeep except for license days. This way you can focus your training in a single pet, while still having a mini zoo of your own. License Days: Each pet requires x amount of crystals for 7 license days. This is absolutely CRITICAL! I cannot tell you how many complaints I have heard because people lose their pets this way. Rule number 1…KEEP YOUR PET LICENSE DAYS FULL! Don’t let your pet license days get below 20 or your tempting fate. Pet Types: There are 21 different pet types throughout lost city, each with their unique starting stats. While these base stats are unknown, some pets are better than others. Pets caught in other regions are usually the best, while pets caught in Lost City are the weakest. However, even the weakest pet can be raised to be the strongest pet in the game with enough work. Note: Raising a pet is an investment. It takes time, energy, hard work, and a lot of cash + crystals. Keep this in mind and remember, it’s not an overnight process. Love your pet and they will be kind to you in return. Back to Top |
