You have to be level 10 to travel, and you need a passport.
The passport is aquired through the level 10 mission, which simply requires you to hospitalize the guard in the passport area. You then need to purchase the passport for $50,000.
It takes no time to travel from Lost City to other destinations, however, there is a time you have to wait to return to Lost City.

A banana smoothie gives you 150 Energy.

Komodo Den

There are 3 spots to go mining but thay are restricted depending on your mine level.

Your mining experience is shown, and you gain experience by mining. Once you have gained enough mining experience, your level will increase.

Explore Bear Cave
You stumble into a cave with a bear. Hes kind of scary.
